Local Area Network. A network of interconnected computers, typically being shared within a company.

Links are what make the Web web-like. Also called hyperlinks, links are connections between one document or page on the Web and another. Links are mostly found in highlighted and/or underlined text but many images now contain one or more links. The mouse pointer changes shape when it passes over a link, and clicking on the link will take you to a new page or a new section of the same page.
