How long should your ebook be? When writing an ebook you should have some idea of how long you would like your project to be. It may be 20 pages or it may be 200 pages but you need to know a rough estimation before you start the research and writing process. If you have years of research compiled then you would be hard pressed to squeeze it into 20 pages. Likewise, if you only know a basic amount of information on a subject you may not be able to fill 200 pages, nor would it benefit your reader if you filled it with 190 pages of fluff. So what's a good length for an ebook? most ebooks are about the same size as regular hard and soft cover books. However, you can also publish smaller information pamphlets or longer works as well. The length of the ebook doesn't warrant real concern. However, make sure you charge a fair price that is in line with the value of the information within the ebook. For example you won't be able to charge $50 for a 10 page information brochure nor should you undercharge for an ebook that you put a lot of work into. Some authors are so keen on getting their work distributed that they sell themselves short. Charge what you think is a reasonable price for your work. A good exercise to use is to ask yourself what you would pay for your ebook.
